Retreat Participation Agreement

This retreat is designed to support creative expression, personal growth, rest, and reconnection with yourself.

Activities may include guided painting, meditation, journaling, group discussion, intuitive exercises, and gentle movement.

Participation is always voluntary. You are encouraged to honor your own pace, boundaries, and comfort level throughout the retreat.

Payments, Cancellations & Refunds

To protect the integrity of this small retreat and to cover lodging, meals, materials, and preparation time, the following refund policy applies:

• Cancellations 31+ days before the retreat: 50% refund

• Cancellations 0–30 days before the retreat: No refunds

This policy applies regardless of illness, emergencies, weather, travel delays, or personal circumstances.

If the retreat must be canceled by the host, you will receive a full refund or a credit toward a future offering, at your choice.

Travel Insurance (Strongly Recommended)

Travel or event insurance is not required, but it is strongly recommended to protect your investment in the event of illness, family emergencies, travel delays, or unexpected disruptions.

Because the retreat is non-refundable within 30 days of the start date, insurance may help you recover costs if something prevents you from attending.

Health & Personal Responsibility

By joining this retreat, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

This retreat is not a substitute for medical care, mental health treatment, or crisis support. You agree to listen to your body, take breaks as needed, and communicate with the facilitator if something feels overwhelming.

Liability Release

You understand that creative practices, emotional exploration, gentle movement, and group activities carry inherent risks. You participate voluntarily and assume full responsibility for your well-being.

By attending, you agree to release Power To Shape Your World, its facilitators, and affiliates from liability for injury, illness, emotional distress, lost property, or travel-related issues, except in cases of gross negligence.

Participant Code of Conduct

To support a safe, respectful, and inclusive retreat environment, you agree to:

• Treat all participants with kindness and respect

• Maintain confidentiality around others’ personal sharing

• Communicate your needs and boundaries respectfully

• Avoid disruptive, aggressive, or harmful behavior

• Refrain from illegal substances and excessive alcohol during the retreat

If a participant’s behavior jeopardizes safety or significantly disrupts the experience, the facilitator reserves the right to ask them to leave the retreat without refund.

Photo & Video Participation (Optional)

During the retreat, occasional photos or short video clips may be taken to capture the spirit of the experience and for use in future promotional materials.

Your comfort and privacy are important. Participation in photos or videos is entirely optional, and you may decline at any time.
